Yay! You are the proud owner of a sweet little Bouquet Yesterday dried flower bouquet! Now what?
1) Figure out how you will display it! Since dried florals do not need water, you can choose a pretty vase, an antique jug, a coffee mug, bucket, basket...just about anything...to tuck it into! My bouquets also look so cute just unwrapped and placed on a shelf or mantle! When you unwrap the bouquet, you will see that the stems are held together with an elastic band. You can either leave the band on, or take it off--it all depends on the size of the container you are using. Feel free to trim the ends with kitchen scissors or garden snips to accommodate your container.
2) Make sure you place your flowers in a spot where they will not get direct light, as sunlight will fade the blooms quickly.
3) Keep your flowers away from moisture. I worked hard to get the moisture OUT...but putting them in a steamy bathroom or on an outdoor porch will cause them to reabsorb the moisture and get floppy.
4) Handle them with care. Dried flowers are so pretty...yet so fragile. Don't be surprised if they shed a bit...this is expected.
5) If your flowers get dusty, you can gently blow the dust off with a hair dryer set on low.
6) You can expect your flowers to last for at least a year, and probably longer with good care. Enjoy yesterday's flowers for many days to come!
